Emeco is a US company from Pennsylvania where they still are today who's born in 1944 to answer to the request and the need of chairs on warships, creating so the 1006 Navy chair.
The principal philosophy of the company is the handcrafted work of each piece and the use of industrial waste materials. From a necessity's born a company which creates products with contemporary style but with a glance to the environment and an aim even greater: to realize strong design seat, built and guaranteed to last a lifetime.

In the time, Emeco has surrounded with the most important names of design, collaborating with very famous architects and designers realizing incredible projects as with Jasper Morrison for the Alfi Collection, Nendo, Konstantin Gricic, Christophe Pillet and with the master Philippe Starck with whom Emeco realized among others the Broom Chair.
