The new Pacific collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso, provides an intimate seating experience that is like being wrapped in a protective and relaxing cocoon. With its rounded, oversized shapes, it evokes the relaxed atmosphere of the American West Coast, from which it takes its name. Pacific is the continuation of a design process begun in 2010 with the iconic Redondo collection by Patricia Urquiola. "It’s the evolution of a collection that over recent years has been very successful not least for its use of innovative, luxurious finishes", explained Patrizia Moroso, the company’s Art Director. "With Pacific, we focus more on the shape, restoring generous, curved lines." In the Pacific sofa, hard edges are banned while the soft shapes are enhanced with the use of "couture" details. The soft, woolly upholstery was chosen to give an extraordinarily tactile experience, with a choice of sophisticated boucle, plush wool or luxurious velvet.

Injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam and polyester fiberfill over internal steel frame. Feet in polypropylene. Polyurethane available in the version BS 5852,crib 5 or, without surcharge, complying with Cal TB117 free of flame retardants. The Pacific collection covers are removable with the exception of leather or velvet.
