HiRay Kartell is an outdoor chair of the designers Ludovica + Roberto Palomba. HiRay Kartell is a collection of outdoor furniture that puts metal in the foreground, in order to highlight the skills of lightness and modernity. Designed for living outdoor, the collection takes the technique of the welded wire, in addition to give life to light effects by sun's rays, it creates a three-dimensional airy design. The whole project is moved by a drawing of metallic threads that, by joining between them, strengthen and build the structure, characterized by an organic shape consisting of a single piece. The rigidity of the metal is combined with the softness of the cushions, made with an innovative fabric realized with recycled bottles and other PET waste. Outdoor spaces become new living spaces, thanks to these refined and unique objects joining aesthetics and functionality, by deleting the border between internal and external. Ludovica+Roberto Palomba: "HiRay is clearly inspired by Kartell philosophy and translates its concepts in a large range of products dictating a new outdoor tendency. HiRay continues the exploration of new worlds for Kartell with a design putting metal in the foreground and it is interpreted according to the canons of lightness and modernity. Designed for outdoor life, HiRay Kartell stands out for its advanced technology and the use of the yarn not only to create sinuous and solar transparencies but also to create three-dimensional shapes. Cushion not included.
