The sideboard Carlos Horm is freely inspired by the work of the Venezuelan artist, Carlos Cruz-Diez and his Op Art style. You perceive this item not as a spectator but as a player who is actively involved with the object itself. It changes in colour depending on your viewpoint, giving the effect of a curtain which opens and closes. Structure made from particleboard, either veneered and stained or melamine-coated and lacquered. The thickness of the structure and shelves is 18 mm, the back panel 10 mm, and the fixed central divider 36 mm. Veneered MDF doors with interior transverse reinforcements in metal, thermo-treated oak veneer, machined vertically to accommodate vertical white laminate inserts. Shelves made from transparent tempered glass, with polished edge, 5 mm thick. Base Mid-Century Modern in vintage burnished metal. Optional accessories: wooden shelves.
