Kartell makes a green revolution when introducing the first piece of Bio-One bioplastic furniture. A 100% natural and 100% biodegradable material. This bioplastic consists of renewable raw materials ( vegetable waste), with the addition of micro-organisms, make a material similar to plastic. This bioplastic guarantees the same thermomechanical properties as conventional plastics, with in addition the advantage of being completely ecological and completely (100%) naturally biodegradable. It took several years of research to develop this highly technological bioplastic deriving from the new ecological chemistry.
